Two groups – Afghan and Syrian – have been wandering in Strandzha for several days

The mayor of Troyanovo Dimitar Nikolov has carried out a civil arrest of two groups of migrants – Afghan and Syrian in the village’s territory, Flagman.bg has learned. He detained the illegals and handed them over to the Border Police.

“Yes it’s true! Yesterday morning, a resident of the village informed me that on the territory of Troyanovo, in the direction of Rusokastro, he noticed three young men who looked like refugees. I immediately went and found them at the place. At first they went in another direction and tried to run away, but I held them back. I called 112. I told them I would take them to the town hall and called for a car to be sent to pick them up. I put them in the jeep and shortly after I saw three more illegal migrants. I put them away too. They were emaciated, and one was bitten by a dog. People from the village gave them food, clothes and provided first aid before the arrival of the border guards,” the mayor of Troyanovo told Flagman.bg.

His fellow villager managed to speak to the migrants in Turkish. He found out that they had been wandering in Strandzha for at least 3 days. They were abandoned by their plumber and lost. They had almost no clothes, literally died of cold.
