A man was arrested in Harmanli for providing shelter to illegal migrants

A man who gave shelter to illegal migrants was arrested in Harmanli, the Haskovo police announced. He was detained after seven Syrians were arrested a few days ago. They explained that they were transported from the border in a jeep to the “Old Vineyards” villa area. They stayed there in one of the houses.

In addition to the 31-year-old who provided shelter, the driver of the jeep was also detained. He has criminal records.

Meanwhile, on the night of Wednesday, six more foreigners were arrested. They explained that they were from Afghanistan. They were detained near the Dimitrovgrad village of Zlato Pole. The six are under the age of 20. They were detained by the police in Dimitrovgrad.
