The President of Serbia, Aleksandar VucicAleksandar Vucic – Serbian lawyer and politician. Aleksandar Vucic was born on March 5, 1970 in Belgrade. during the session of the parliament on Wednesday warned that Europe is waiting for the worst winter in its history after 1945, reports the newspaper “Blitz”.
“The next six, a little more than six and a half months, will be the most difficult for Europe since the Second World War as a whole. It may not be the most difficult for us, but it will be one of the most difficult years for the citizens of Serbia since 1945,” Vucic told parliament.
The Serbian president also indicated that he expects the pressure against Serbia to increase.
I believe I will be able to talk more about this when I return from New York because I have 22 bilateral meetings with heads of state and government. Difficult days are ahead of us and unfortunately the political actors did not understand it enough, as well as our public scene, added Vucic, quoted by BTA.
In his closing speech, Vucic said that, in his opinion, the Russians are waiting for a new Yalta, and “these others want to avoid it.” He also made it clear that he would not recognize Kosovo’s independence either directly or indirectly.
He indicated that he understood that Europe’s plan was for Serbia to agree to Kosovo’s entry into the United Nations.
We are between a rock and a hard place, said Vucic.
He indicated that he discussed oil imports with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro because the European ban on Russian oil imports also affects Serbia.
