The district court in Kyustendil issued a remand “detention” measure for 14 citizens of Afghanistan and the Bulgarian driver of the minibus in which they were traveling.

The 14 Afghans were detained on September 1 during an inspection of the light truck in the area of ​​the Oltomantsi border crossing.

There is a danger that the migrants and the driver of the van will abscond or commit another crime, the defendants do not have a residence on the territory of Bulgaria, they crossed the Bulgarian-Turkish border illegally, the decision says.

The rulings of the court in Kyustendil, with which the most severe measure of remand “detention” was taken in relation to Afghan citizens, are subject to appeal with a private complaint and private protest before the District Court in Kyustendil.

At the same time, in Trekljansko, they comment that 8 men were spotted in the area of ​​the village of Dolin Korten during the weekend. However, they were not at the green border, were not checked, nor detained by the Border Police teams.
