If you are in Plovdiv, don’t miss a show in the center

Come, play and move at Park(ing) Day for Fitness in Plovdiv. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and will be held next to the Vienna Pavilion in the Tsar Simeon Garden.

During the pilot edition of the international Park(ing) Day for Fitness initiative, the BG Be Active association will transform some of the traditional parking spaces in the city center into places for sports, games and entertainment.

In order for the visitor to discover the installations, “Time Scape Room” has prepared “City Games” – a series of puzzles and challenges to stimulate the minds and bodies of the participants while they rediscover their favorite city!

Participation is free. All you have to do is assemble a team and register the group to participate. There will be special prizes for the three teams that solve the riddles the fastest and go through all the locations on the route.

The adventure is suitable for all ages, to play with family or friends. To participate, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

The duration of the game is about 2 hours. “Let’s enjoy together a city for people, not one for cars!”, urge the organizers.

Park(ing) Day for Fitness is based on the original Park(ing) Day concept of taking a parking space for a day and turning it into a space for socializing, physical activity, movement and/or fitness for the mind. The mission of Park(ing) Day for Fitness is to draw attention to the need for more urban, public spaces conducive to physical activity and movement, and to spark public debate about how public spaces are created and distributed. The events of the Park(ing) Day for Fitness initiative will be held in parallel in the period 16-22 September 2022 in cities in 6 more European countries (Austria, Romania, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, France and Bulgaria).
