Vucic issued a dire warning for Europe. Where is Serbia?

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned during a parliament session in Belgrade that Europe is facing the worst winter in history since 1945, Blitz reports.

The next six months, just over six and a half months, will be the most difficult for Europe since the Second World War as a whole. It may not be the most difficult for us, but it will be one of the most difficult years for the citizens of Serbia since 1945, Vucic told parliament. The Serbian president also said he expects pressure on Serbia to intensify.

I believe I will be able to talk more about this when I return from New York because I have 22 bilateral meetings with heads of state and government. We are facing difficult days and unfortunately the political actors did not understand it enough and neither did our public scene, said Vucic. .

In his closing speech, Vucic said that, in his opinion, the Russians are waiting for a new Yalta, and “these others want to avoid it.” He also made it clear that he would not recognize Kosovo’s independence either directly or indirectly.

He indicated that he understood that Europe’s plan was for Serbia to agree to Kosovo’s entry into the United Nations.

We are between a rock and a hard place, said Vucic.

He indicated that he discussed oil imports with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro because the European ban on Russian oil imports also affects Serbia.
