“Blood doesn’t work, and loyalty to the favorite team will be eternal! For generations and forever – only Loko!”, Todor Enev wrote to the footage in question.
Plovdiv24.bg reminds his readers that in 1996 Todor Enev was chosen as the No. 3 tennis player in Europe among juniors up to 14 years of age (after Paul-Henri Mathieu and Tommy Robredo). He is a 1999 Junior Wimbledon doubles finalist with partner Jarko Nieminen. In 2000, he reached #2 in the world junior ranking behind Andy Roddick. In the same year, he won the junior edition of the “Italian Open Championship” and the “Orange Bowl” (unofficial world championship for juniors).
Todor Enev holds the record for matches played for Bulgaria in the Davis Cup. He has 33 singles matches and 11 doubles matches.
It is curious that Bulgaria’s Davis Cup record holder is another Plovdiv resident – Dimitar Kuzmanov, who is also a big fan of Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
