Bulgaria U15 once again showed magnificent football and easily defeated the hosts of the international tournament under the auspices of UEFA Estonia with 4:0. As in their first match of the competition (8:1 over Moldova), the “lion cubs” were unstoppable for the opponent’s defense, and central striker Dimitar Mrnkov, who scored a hat trick, became a hero for our team.
From the beginning of the match, the better collective and individual qualities of the Bulgarian team were evident and the chances in front of the Estonian goal were loaded one after the other. In the 27th minute, Martin Nikolov received a red card, but according to the regulations of the tournament, he left the field for only 8 minutes, after which he returned to the game. Shortly after, Mrnkov opened the scoring after a cross from the left and a header. In the 40th minute, the native “nine” increased to 2:0 after an assist from Steven Gerard, and immediately after the resumption of play, Mrnkov scored his third goal after a nice breakthrough by Kristiyan Goryanov on the right flank and an accurate finishing pass to the batter in the Bulgarian attack . Goryanov himself shaped the final result in the 51st minute, after fighting for the ball in front of the Estonian penalty area and with a technical shot from a distance he beat the goalkeeper.
