Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet, advertised Belogradchik and Bulgaria. The founder of Tesla and SpaceX shared on his profile in the social network Twitter a photo of the fortress “Kaleto” in Belogradchik, taken by the Bulgarian photographer Vladislav Terziyski. The photo was taken with a drone and reveals the uniqueness of the rocks and the historical fortress. Musk’s post was accompanied by the text “I was sure this was in Elden Ring” (a fantasy video game), a BTA reporter saw.
The Belogradchi fortress and the rocks are among the 100 national tourist sites of Bulgaria. Since the beginning of this year, the site has been visited by nearly 70,000 Bulgarian and foreign tourists. Amidst the beauty of the Belogradchik rocks, in the courtyard of the fortress, the idea of Academician Plamen Kartalov – a summer festival “Opera of the Peaks” – has been implemented for the seventh year in a row. Under the open sky, opera and ballet lovers witness unusual stage solutions and directorial interpretation. The public enjoys the art of artists from the Sofia Opera and Ballet and guest performers, directors and musicians, Rosen Mladenov, deputy mayor of Belogradchik, told BTA.
In November of last year, Elon Musk became the first person in the world with a net worth of 300 billion dollars, and to this day he continues to be the richest person on the planet, according to the Forbes ranking.
